Nimbin - Legalise drugs??

Etter Nimbin, kjørte vi videre (eller jeg kjørte.. manuell på andre siden av veien, for første gang:P) til Byron Bay, hvor vi spiste middag på en kjempe hyggelig restaurant før vi kjørte hjem igjen. Kjempe koselig kveld!

My Life In Australia

Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it ok
There's always some reason to feel ?not good enough?
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction, oh beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
They may be empty and weightless, and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of an Angel, fly away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
You're in the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of an Angel, far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent reverie
In the arms of an Angel; may you find some comfort here

What ever.. Skriver på norsk. Da tar det både kortere tid og kanskje jeg skriver oftere og. Kan jo spørre meg selv om hvor mange engelsk talende som faktisk leser bloggen min.. Så heja!

Walking through the rainforest, smelling the plants and touching the trees, we stopped at a 500 years old fig tree. It had roots coming all the way from the top of a host tree and to the ground, after a bird pooped in the tree several hundred years ago and left some seeds in the host tree. Amazing how that can be?

It was a lot to do, but with some help from our neighbours we made it. I actually did put up my bed, on my own:)
January 31.
We landed in Brisbane 07.30 on Thursday. We found our apartment and went out to walk around in our neighbourhood. The school is just 1km from our place, so that?s a nice walk by the river. Our place is also 5 min walk from Queen street mall, which is a big outdoor mall with lots of shops, restaurants and Cinemas.
Later that day, Adrian drove us to Ikea, and we bought our couch, beds and the rest of the furniture to our apartment.
February 1st
We went to Surfers Paradise. Awesome beach! The water was at least 25 degrees if not even higher. We went swimming and had an ice cream before we hit the road back to Brizzie.
February 2nd
We got our furniture and used that day to build everything. We got some Norwegian neighbours, so they did help us. Later that day, we went over to our Norwegian neighbours porch. Nice guys!
Tuesday, January 29th is the date. Nathalie, Marlene and I are leaving Norway. We are going to study Bachelor of Business for 3 years. How exciting! We are moving in to our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartment right next to the school in Brisbane City.
